When Matt left college with a degree in sculpture, little did he know that his future sculptures would be entirely edible. After a stint at the French Culinary Institute, his first job was a season of the television show The Katie Brown Workshop, where he learned that presentation could be more important than flavor. In his years as a food stylist, he has created art out of fish, fruit, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He has also become an adept child model wrangler.
