Mariana Vera
Whether products are soft or hard, heavy or light, shiny or dull, I love being engaged with a mental space that allows me to find a rhythm between objects. 17 years ago, I left Buenos Aires to move to New York to study fashion design. After graduation, I began working as a costume designer for film, and quickly moved into fashion styling. It was there that I noticed what the art departments were developing, and realized that working with the relationships between objects and environments was what I was most attracted to.
Mariana Vera lives in Brooklyn with her 5 year old son and her husband of 10 years.
